APFC Volunteer & Partner Opportunities

If you’d like to be our “partner in change”, please consider supporting our mission in one or more of these ways:

  • Attend quarterly board meetings (either via teleconference or meeting at our Clark or Paramus location).
  • Provide guidance and oversight on organizational issues relating to budgets, human resources, risk, and planning.
  • Serve as an ambassador in the community to publicize our work and attend program activities.
  • Assist in securing pro bono services for technological, legal and human resource issues.
  • Identify donors who can contribute program supplies and refreshments for PowerBack, PREP and DATA.
  • Aid in research for donors to sponsor a PowerBack school to meet the demand for services.
  • Support in public relations (press releases, securing endorsements, or enhancing our social media presence).
  • Sponsor or spearhead a fundraiser.
  • Provide guidance on contracts, human resource issues, or financial matters.
