Job Title: PowerBack Program Manager
If you answered Yes to these questions, we'd love to hear from you. We are offering an exciting opportunity to help us enhance and expand PowerBack - a program that has already reached 15,000 teens in NJ.
The PowerBack Program Manager manages the day-to-day operations of PowerBack in seven high schools located in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson counties. This includes individual counseling to teen victims, preparing and presenting school-wide teen forums, tracking data, and maintaining reports. In addition, the Program Manager recruits and educates a team of peer leaders at each school. The Program Manager expands and enhances the program's social media presence and conducts community-based outreach. Finally, the Program Manager helps to secure donations and in-kind support.
We offer 10 days paid time off (15 days after two years of service), plus 12 paid holidays per year. (APFC does not provide health insurance at this time.)

Support our PowerBack program manager with all aspects of the program currently operating in seven high schools in northern New Jersey. Conduct research on dating abuse, resources and statistics; help expand our social media presence; tally program surveys; and support teen victims by providing crisis intervention and referral. You will have the opportunity to attend our professional trainings to further your knowledge on the issue. Pursuing field of study in social work or counseling is preferred.
PREP (Police Response Enhancement Program) Internship
Support our PREP program manager with promoting PREP to police officers throughout New Jersey. Conduct research; make phone calls; attend outreach events; and help with data collection. You will have the opportunity to attend our professional trainings to further your knowledge on the issue. Pursuing a field of study in law enforcement, public relations, counseling or social work is preferred.
